Longfellow wrote of “long, long thoughts”.  How he intended that he would have to tell you himself, but a thought does have a life and can go in a direction for a long time.  A thought can have long-term consequences.

The thought of evolution has led to all modern, secular, woke, communist, dictatorial types of agendas, political and societal.  Why is this true?

If there is no god, then anything goes.  Life becomes the survival of the most brutal and murderous of the species.  It becomes the survival of the most covetous and power-hungry who care not how their decisions affect the rest of humanity.  The only thing that matters is their bottom line and power.

Luke 4:4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

5 And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.

6 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.

7 If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.

8 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

If there is a God, a Creator, and there is, then there is an “end of discussion” finality regarding many topics.

Should we kill babies?  The Creator says “thou shalt not murder (Exodus 20:3).”  End of discussion.

Should be allow capital punishment?  The Creator says, “whoso sheds man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed (Genesis 9:6)”.  End of discussion

Note: The difference between the two above is one is wantonly killing just for blood lust, satanic rituals, to steal someone else’s property, or vengeance. The other comes under the heading of “just war”. Sometimes something is so destructive to mankind that it has to be removed off the earth. God himself killed the seed of evil, the mixture of mankind with evil, through the Flood.  David became a hero as he killed Goliath who was of the seed of giants.  David was a man of war. It was God ordained for him to remove certain enemies of God off the earth.  God blessed King David in many ways.   On the other hand, there was a time when a killing by David was judged.   David engineered the killing of one of his army commanders, Uriah, by sending Uriah to the front lines of the enemy. David did this after he had committed adultery with Uriah’s wife, Bathsheba, and attempted to cover up what he, David, had done. That kind of killing was not the equivalent of killing Goliath, it was not God ordained, and that whole experience cost David dearly, including the life of a baby.

Should adultery be encouraged?  The Creator says, “thou shalt not commit adultery” (Exodus 20:14).

Should pedophilia be encouraged and legalized?  Jesus says:

Matthew 18:6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

Should lives be wasted through drugs and alcohol?   The Creator says:

I Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

Should there be a two- or three-tied level of justice?  The Creator says:

Matthew 6:8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

It is necessary to point out that there is a difference between justice and “social justice”.  They are not the same.  Justice is equal protection under the law.  Rich or poor, famous or unknown, all are treated equally under the law.  Social justice comes from a sense of entitlement, a protected status or class due to … pick what you want … skin color, gender, transgender, woke philosophy, whatever … and that entitles the protected class to special privileges before others.  That is social justice; it is what is operating in this nation now, and it is not godly or just.  It is why murders are let out of prison to murder again while those who defend their homes with guns are imprisoned.  It is why people who illegally invade the nation across the southern border get money, phones, guns, plane rides and “perks” the average hard-working citizen does not get, while citizens lose their homes to a destroyed economy, high taxes and a corrupted money supply.  Social justice is something the ruling class of politicians creates in order to bring in and cater to a “socially-created-social-justice” class or caste that becomes a voting class  to keep corrupt political rulers in power … at least until the corrupted social justice system is recognized, resisted, and removed from the nation.

Should we tithe?

Malachi 3:7 Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the Lord of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?

8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.

9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.

The list goes on.

And this is why the lie of evolution is the seed root of all evil.   Because once you accept that God exists and that he has come to mankind with messages of how to return to him and how to live, as well as come to mankind personally in the person of Jesus Christ, then this understanding becomes a “drop the mic” moment to all other questions.

Groups, politicians, and policies deal with the fruit of the tree of evolutionary fairy tales.  If you get rid of the root, a whole lot of other governmental and societal ills go with it.  Creationism and the fact that there is a Creator and that mankind is a created species becomes an end-of-discussion moment.

With this as a framework, and understanding that the Bible deals in facts, let’s go on.

Jesus said the last days would be as the days of Noah.  What happened at the time of Noah?

Matthew 24:36  But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

At the time of Noah, evil had increased on the earth to the point where the human genome was threatened.  It is not unlike today.  The details may differ and forces threatening human reproduction and the human genome may differ in part, but the end is the same … the elimination or pollution or capturing of the souls of men (Revelation 18:13).

Genesis 6:1  And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,

2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

3 And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

In Genesis 3:15 the Lord God promised a Redeemer after the Fall of Mankind, after the Fall of Adam and Eve.

Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

This is why Jesus came and why Christmas is celebrated; Christmas celebrates the birth of Jesus.

I John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

If you would say that it doesn’t look like the work of the devil has been destroyed that is because Jesus took back the authority lost in the Fall and gave it back to his followers, those who believed on him and continue to believe on him.   This is called the Church, which extends beyond individual denominations.  However, if the Church does nothing with the gifts given to it through Jesus Christ, it becomes like the school shooting in Uvalde, Texas.  The security with guns stood down and so the shooter killed children and teachers.  Other events of history could be mentioned regarding the fact that someone with authority stood down and did not use it.

These kinds of things are not the acts of God as much as the cowardice or ignorance of men.  But acts of men, or lack of men’s actions, are blamed on God.

A drunk drives DUI, someone is killed, and that is called an act of God.  No.  It was not an act of God but an act of rebellion, sin, and the consequences.  None of us know what is required of another soul in their walk with God and whether or not that soul obeyed.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

This is a free will world and God will not override man’s free will.  This is why prayer is important.  When a person prays, whether for a nation, a family, or an individual, the person is actively asking God, of that person’s own free will, to come into a situation.  God honors prayer because then legally God can enter a situation after prayer is made because the request indicates the free will of man has asked God into the situation.  God will not override free will.

The Bible is a legal document.  There is an old covenant.  There is a new covenant.  These are legal terms.  Jesus is the testator of New Covenant.  Testator is a legal term.

Hebrews 9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.

17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.

While any topic can be taught from a certain perspective, if the things of the Bible are taught from a religious standpoint only, the legal events that happened, and continue to happen between heaven and earth gets minimized, ignored, and then results are less than satisfactory when the weight of what mankind should do is thrown upon God.

If need were the only thing that mattered, then every problem in this world could be corrected in less than a nanosecond.  Hospital beds would empty.  Housing and sanitation and water and food would exist for all.  Jesus indicated that the material realm was subject to the power of God.  Jesus walked on water.  Jesus healed the sick.  Jesus fed the multitudes.  Jesus raised the dead.

But he did it by faith … according to your faith be it unto you … because faith is connected to free will (Matthew 9:29).  There were instances where there were large crowds, but not everyone was healed.  Why?  It was the free will asking, seeking, reaching out and faith of some that touched the healing power of God.  Those who operated in doubt and unbelief and rebellion and persecution towards Jesus received nothing … at least at that time.  Some repented later.

But back to the time of Noah … even at that time, how could people protect themselves?  If someone had a fifteen-year old daughter and someone wanted to rape her, who could stop it?  What could a parent do?  In some respects, it is not much better today where the mass of illegal invasion is pouring over borders and there are criminal ones among them to steal, kill, pillage and rape.  What is the protection?

At the time of Noah, mankind was under the curse of the Fall.  There was no pleading the Blood of Jesus, using the authority of the name of Jesus, praying to Father in the name of Jesus, claiming the promises of God as people who are born again have Biblical legal access and authority to do today.  Because in the end, the Bible is a legal book.  It describes how legally the earth was handed to satan and legally how Jesus won it back.  And it describes legally how men should operate on a day-to-day basis to receive from the Lord.

It can be looked at as a religious book.  But when you look at it as simply a religious book it can lead to fatalism or “que sera, sera”, “whatever will be, will be”.  It can take a person to a conclusion that God is God and if God wants something, he will do it, and if he doesn’t want something, he won’t.  That is actually not correct.  It is a false conclusion.

The Lord has turned the world over to mankind in a lease until the Second Coming of Christ.  Therefore, it is in our hands what happens.  Now God can be called into help through faith, through the promises, through learning how to approach the Lord correctly through the Word, through the promises, through the Blood, through the name of Jesus and through the sacraments.  Jesus taught these things.  It is a full-time, ongoing, every day lifestyle to learn more and more.  Of the increase and his government and peace there will be no end (Isaiah 9:7).

So if we want to approach God, we need to learn what he says and approach him according to his standards, his ways, his demands, his requirements … starting with being born again into his kingdom.  For ever since the Fall, mankind is born into sin, with a nature dead and cut off from God.  That relationship can only be reestablished through Jesus Christ.

All human beings are created by God, but only those who are born again have the spirit of the living God again established within their hearts.

To say all are the children of God can be a misleading statement.

This is where communication and definition of terms matters.  This is what the Bible calls “children of God”.

Galatians 3:26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

I Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

That last verse implies that there are some who do not receive him and who are not born of the incorruptible Word and who do not become the children of God until they do.

Acts 17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

32 And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked: and others said, We will hear thee again of this matter.

Jesus said to the Pharisees, who were the religious leaders of the day,

John 8:40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.

41 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.

42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.

43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.

44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

Back to the topic at hand… so we have times like the times of Noah.  At that time, the human genome was corrupted through fallen angels.   Today there is an attempt to corrupt the human genome through lab manipulation and AIs.  This can only lead to another great defilement of mankind and an attempt to cut mankind off from God permanently.

It is becoming evident that the things that are coming on the earth will be of such a nature that it is imperative that people be born again and learn to walk with the Spirit of God in awareness to help protect them in the days ahead.  Attempting to defy and rebel against scripture cannot bring good results.

Proverbs 29:1  He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.

Many readers are aware of stories of those who, on the day the Twin Towers fell, were supposed to report for work and for some reason or another were delayed.  Therefore, when the Towers fell, they were not there.  Their walk with God, their attention to and obedience to the leading of Holy Spirit, or the prayers of someone else saved them.

That awareness needs to become the normal operating existence in the days ahead.  The challenges before us are not just what has happened in history.  There will be technological manipulations and things that happen which will require the supernatural intervention of God for protection of his people.

There is a lot of mocking of God and attempts to deny the reality of the Bible and Jesus Christ.  But it will be those who are connected to the Lord through Jesus Christ who is the door, through the new birth, through daily seeking and paying attention to the Holy Spirit, who will be able to walk in the days ahead.

There will be things coming beyond what we have seen and the only protection will be the supernatural manifestation of God
