evil servant

Dropping Momentum

Have you ever watched a basketball or other ball be dropped and slowly lose momentum?  With each bounce it loses altitude until is slowly rolls to the floor and stops.

The TVs, the movies, the ads, the constant bombardment of social media through cell phones, and whatever subliminal messages are also delivered through those mediums that belong to Mammon, Babylon, and are influenced by wokeness and satan draw energy away from doing things that need to be done.  As the scripture says, it is a snare on the whole earth.

Some people just plain don’t care.  Some are aware but want others to deal with it while they continue to sit on the couch and eat bonbons.  Some care, but aren’t willing to put any money or donations to those things they care about.  If it is of concern, everyone should participate at some level, no matter how small.

Elsewhere  I have written on the topic of the tithe.  If every Christian tithed and had tithed for the last hundred, hundred and fifty, or two hundred years, we would not be in the condition we are today.  God promises through the tithe that he will rebuke the devourer.

But we can see that the devourer has not been rebuked by God.  Illegal invasion in pouring in over the borders, the government and corporations are pushing toxic jabs, the police are defunded, riots are called “mostly peaceful”, the landmarks of history are destroyed, wokeness has invaded all levels of society including elementary schools, and statues of satan are in the public square rather than creches to the Christ Child at Christmas; all this is a manifestation and indication that the devourer has not been rebuked.

“Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. (Matthew 7:16) .”

Luke 21:34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

Matthew 24:37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;

50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

It is important to realize that all of us, always, all the time, every day are under the test of scriptures.  What will we do?  What will we not do?  We are tested always.  We may not realize it, some may realize it more than others, but we are being tested and tried as to what we will choose and what we will do.

In the earth the attitude … let someone else do the work … let me see how much I can get away with and throw on others … may work for a while in the earthly plane, but all of us are dealing with more than one plane of existence.  There is the visible.  There is also the invisible.

And in the earth, by earthly standards, while a certain amount of conning, of deceiving, of having two or more standards of justice, of injustice, of lies, of deceits, of bribes, of blackmail, may work for while (speaking by corrupt earthly standards), it will not work forever.

As Jesus moves more and more into the earthly realm, as his kingdom manifests within the earth, “thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven”, things that used to work on the side of evil are not going to work, or things that the side of evil used to get away with, will not work.  Those who chose the wrong side, who stuck their finger in the air, tried to figure which way the wind was blowing and went with it, even if it was evil, will find that it will not work forever.

“Though the mills of God grind slowly, yet they grind exceeding small; Though with patience He stands waiting, with exactness grinds He all.”   Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Why does it take so long?  Primarily it is because God wants all men to be saved and not go to hell.  More time is given to preach the gospel.  More time is given for men to believe and be born again.

II Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

And this is not just dealing with the woke, destructive, satanic agendas.  Even in the patriotic community,  which does a lot of things correctly, and where there are a lot of Christian believers, still has among its members those who do not understand that they must be born again and whose spirits are still dead to God.  For their all good works in working towards freedom, it is not the equivalent of the new birth.

Isaiah 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

7 And there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of thee: for thou hast hid thy face from us, and hast consumed us, because of our iniquities.

Revelation 3:1 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.

I Timothy 5:6 But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth.

Luke 15:24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

Luke 15:10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

11 And he said, A certain man had two sons:

12 And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.

13 And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.

14 And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want.

15 And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.

16 And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.

17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!

18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,

19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.

20 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.

21 And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.

22 But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:

23 And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:

24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

25 Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard musick and dancing.

26 And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant.

27 And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound.

28 And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and intreated him.

29 And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:

30 But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.

31 And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.

32 It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.
