The Question Might Arise ….

Brooklyn Museum - The Birth of Our Lord Jesus Christ (La nativité de Notre-Seigneur Jésus-Christ) - James Tissot - overall

The question might arise if God’s purposes have changed between the Old Testament and the New Testament.

The Apostle Paul, whose many letters to the churches are contained in the New Testament, talks about children; there can’t be children without a father and mother. In Paul’s day things like in vitro fertilization did not exist.

Ephesians 6:1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.

So when it comes to the transgender, homosexual, and LBGTQ+ issue, Paul had this to say:

Romans 1:15 So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

In another place Paul says to go back to the Old Testament to learn life lessons.  At that time, the New Testament had not yet been written.  We now have both the New Testament and Old Testament.

I Corinthians 10:10 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;

2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;

3 And did all eat the same spiritual meat;

4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

5 But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.

6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.

7 Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.

8 Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.

9 Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.

10 Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.

11 Now all these things happened unto them for examples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

As a good Pharisee-in-training before he was converted, Paul would have read the first five books of the Bible which included the account of Noah and the Flood.  At that time, there was genetic manipulation between mankind and fallen angels which is why God had to wipe out the bad genetic seed in order to preserve a pure genetic line through which could come Jesus the Christ.  The whole Old Testament follows the story of Abraham and his descendants, the children of Israel, through whom Christ came.  Those genealogies are listed  in the  Matthew and Luke (starting in verse 23, which extends back to Adam).  And even though Joseph was the adoptive father, as Jesus came through the virgin birth, in order to be free from the sin nature passed on since Adam, so that Jesus could become the Saviour through his birth, life, death, and resurrection, the genealogy is listed to show that Jesus fulfilled prophecy of being of the house and lineage of David.

Genesis 6:1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,

2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

3 And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

Gustave Doré - Dante Alighieri - Inferno - Plate 65 (Canto XXXI - The Titans)

5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

6 And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

7 And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

The point is, the message of the Old Testament is fulfilled in the New Testament.  Both point to Jesus who is called the Word made flesh.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2 The same was in the beginning with God.

3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

15 John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.

16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.

17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

18 No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

He formed it to be inhabited

Timeline evolution of life (German)

The bottomline “vain thing” from which all other societal ills emerge is the question of evolution versus creation.  If man evolved from a blob, then life is meaningless and there is no future and there is no moral compass by which to live.

Psalm 2:1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying,

3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

003.Adam and Eve Are Driven out of Eden

If man devolved through disobedience and rebellion (known as the Fall in the Garden of Eden) after being created by God, (and history records the effects of the Fall as well as God’s attempt to reclaim mankind from the rule of satan through Jesus Christ), then this is true.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.

13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

Beyond the secular atheist lie of evolution (they still haven’t found the missing link and the links they have “found” have been debunked) another secular push is that the world needs to be depopulated.  This agenda was behind the toxic jab and also behind transgenderism which makes it impossible for children to later have children (unless there is a miraculous intervention by the Lord Jesus Christ).  Any agenda to decrease the population is contrary to God’s original command to mankind, which has never been removed or abrogated.

Interestingly, one of the formal definitions of abrogated is “formal to suppress or prevent (a biological function or process and especially an immune response)”   Where have we seen the suppression or prevention of a biological function?  through transgender operations?  through toxic jabs or “vaccines“?

Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Genesis 9:7 And you, be ye fruitful, and multiply; bring forth abundantly in the earth, and multiply therein.

Psalm 127:3 Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

Leviticus 26:9 For I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you.

Deuteronomy 7:13 And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee.

Isaiah 45:For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.

Psalm 115:6 The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD’S: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.

[not to the trees or to the earth]

Wisdom

She is right. If it weren’t for the United States, the Ukranian War would not be happening. The US and NATO forced Russia into defending their borders. As Pogo said, “We have met the enemy and it is us (US).” We have an occupier-in-chief administration. If the duly-elected President, from whom the election was stolen, had been in office, this  war would never had happen. There has been so much anti-Russia propaganda, in politics, and in prophecy, that it has set the stage to condition the minds of the people to let this occur.

And her wisdom is correct. If the world is the boat and it overturns in a WW III, then all the jockeying for position and power won’t matter one whit. Too few people are aware of what is going on and/or too many are either clueless or intellectually dishonest and willing to go along to get along hoping they will emerge unscathed without having to pay any kind of a price to see these things corrected.

Repost: Adam, Not Apes | Dr. Brian Thomas, Ph.D.

Psalm 2:1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying,

3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.

5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.

The evolution vs creation question is at the crux of every law created by man to “break the bands” of the laws of God.  If man evolved from the slime then he answers to no one and it becomes the survival of the most brutal and most treacherous and most lawless that win over mankind.  We see that happening today.  If man was created by God (which he was) then all of mankind is answerable to the laws of God.

This is why the evolution vs creation question matters.  It may seem like an moot, unimportant word game or argument, but all of the ills of society rest on the answer to that question and up until now, the wrong answer has prevailed.  This is why all thinking people should simply follow this man’s example; if you can’t articulate the discussion yourself, simply send a video link and let him do the talking.

As he says, you don’t have to be the Ph.D.  Simply send a video link or post it on your Facebook page and let the video do the talking.

Psalm 68:11 The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.

It does not take every member of the body of Christ doing the research of answering any particular question.  What is important is that the “company” gets the information out.  All can participate in that either in person or through social media.

All Scripture

Sefer Torah (CBL Heb 777)

The Apostle Paul spoke of the importance of learning, including from the Old Testament

II Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

I Corinthians 10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

The Bible covers all topics that concern mankind. If the answers have been given, and they have, “the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, so that we may follow all the words of this law.”

Deuteronomy 29:29 The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, so that we may follow all the words of this law.

Some like to say that the law no longer applies.  What Jesus brought is a higher application of the law, but basics are still in effect.  In other words, if you love your neighbor, you will not steal from him, lie about him, or commit adultery with his wife (all of those being part of the Ten Commandments).  Jesus did not die for people to keep on  in sin and lifestyles contrary to the scriptures.

Romans 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?

2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

One of the areas in the Old Testament where it is important to “take heed” or pay attention is that of tithing.  Perhaps it was because Paul ministered primarily to Gentiles, who had no history or background in the tithes and offering system of the Jews, that he talked about “giving” instead of “tithing” in order to make himself culturally relevant.  Maybe that is true, maybe it is not.  In any case, he did say to go back to the Old Testament to learn things.  Tithing is in the Old Testament.

Abraham tithed to Melchisedek. They both lived before Moses (through whom came the law). So those who say that tithing is a part of the law are actually not correct; tithing precedes the law.

Malachi 3:6 For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

7 Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the Lord of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?

8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.

9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.

10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts.

12 And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the Lord of hosts.

13 Your words have been stout against me, saith the Lord. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee?

14 Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the Lord of hosts?

The reason I mention this topic is because I saw a post with a reprint of something nearly 100 years. In it, Philippians 4:19 was mentioned.

In my opinion, Philippians 4:19 needs to be mentioned in context. Paul wrote that to a giving church.

Again, IMO, I think that unless a person is tithing and giving offerings according to the will of the Lord, that person may not see the fullness of Philippians 4:19. I personally don’t think that you can separate Philippians 4:19 from the commands to tithe and give.

We live in an entitlement world where there is an expectation in the world to get benefits out without putting anything that is constructive in to create those blessings. God is not a welfare office or a lottery or a slot machine where one can throw in a little or even nothing and expect the blessings to flow.

In my opinion, I believe God blesses as much as he is able in any situation, but there are many things that can block blessings or open someone to the curse because the wages of sin is (still) death.  Overall, there is a tendency to over-emphasize God’s responsibility while under-rating personal responsiibility.  Personal responsibility may in some way as part of an answer, even if that responsibility is simply to pray and ask.  But personal responsibility can involve other things as well.

James 4:2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.

3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

Wrong Assumption Because of Incomplete Knowledge

Flight into Egypt, 1916, Henry Ossawa Tanner

John 7:40 Many of the people therefore, when they heard this saying, said, Of a truth this is the Prophet.

41 Others said, This is the Christ. But some said, Shall Christ come out of Galilee?

42 Hath not the scripture said, That Christ cometh of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was?

43 So there was a division among the people because of him.

This portion of scripture above comes from a longer portion posted below. People were undecided about who Jesus was. Part of the problem was that they had incomplete knowledge.

They knew Jesus lived in Galilee. And they asked a valid question. They knew the prophecies.

John 7:42 Hath not the scripture said, That Christ cometh of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was?

The fact is, Christ was of the seed of David. This is evident in the genealogies that Matthew and Luke wrote after they came to know Jesus either personally or through those who walked with him and could tell the historical story that was written down in the gospels. But the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) were not written until after Jesus’s resurrection from the dead, so the genealogy was not written at the time  when people questioned both Jesus’s lineage and birthplace. As to the second part of the question recorded in John 7:42, Jesus was  born in Bethlehem.  But to escape being murdered by jealous King Herod, Joseph took Mary and Jesus to Egypt until Joseph was instructed that it was safe to return.  (Recorded in Matthew chapters 1 & 2, posted below)

By the time of Jesus’s trial the high priest had some kind of awareness because he called Jesus “the son of the Blessed“.   [emphasis mine]

Mark 14:61 But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?

Luke 1:46 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,

47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.

48 For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.

So the questions about “seed of David” and “Bethlehem” were correct. But because of incomplete knowledge, they rejected Jesus as the Christ. Jesus actually fulfilled both of the questions they were asking, but they did not know it.

John 7:1 After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him.

2 Now the Jew’s feast of tabernacles was at hand.

3 His brethren therefore said unto him, Depart hence, and go into Judaea, that thy disciples also may see the works that thou doest.

4 For there is no man that doeth any thing in secret, and he himself seeketh to be known openly. If thou do these things, shew thyself to the world.

5 For neither did his brethren believe in him.

6 Then Jesus said unto them, My time is not yet come: but your time is alway ready.

7 The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.

8 Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast: for my time is not yet full come.

9 When he had said these words unto them, he abode still in Galilee.

10 But when his brethren were gone up, then went he also up unto the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret.

11 Then the Jews sought him at the feast, and said, Where is he?

12 And there was much murmuring among the people concerning him: for some said, He is a good man: others said, Nay; but he deceiveth the people.

13 Howbeit no man spake openly of him for fear of the Jews.

14 Now about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught.

15 And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned?

16 Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.

17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.

18 He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.

19 Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill me?

20 The people answered and said, Thou hast a devil: who goeth about to kill thee?

21 Jesus answered and said unto them, I have done one work, and ye all marvel.

22 Moses therefore gave unto you circumcision; (not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers;) and ye on the sabbath day circumcise a man.

23 If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken; are ye angry at me, because I have made a man every whit whole on the sabbath day?

24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

25 Then said some of them of Jerusalem, Is not this he, whom they seek to kill?

26 But, lo, he speaketh boldly, and they say nothing unto him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is the very Christ?

27 Howbeit we know this man whence he is: but when Christ cometh, no man knoweth whence he is.

28 Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not.

29 But I know him: for I am from him, and he hath sent me.

30 Then they sought to take him: but no man laid hands on him, because his hour was not yet come.

31 And many of the people believed on him, and said, When Christ cometh, will he do more miracles than these which this man hath done?

32 The Pharisees heard that the people murmured such things concerning him; and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers to take him.

33 Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me.

34 Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye cannot come.

35 Then said the Jews among themselves, Whither will he go, that we shall not find him? will he go unto the dispersed among the Gentiles, and teach the Gentiles?

36 What manner of saying is this that he said, Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye cannot come?

37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.

38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

Matthew 1:1 The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.

2 Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren;

3 And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram;

4 And Aram begat Aminadab; and Aminadab begat Naasson; and Naasson begat Salmon;

5 And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse;

6 And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias;

7 And Solomon begat Roboam; and Roboam begat Abia; and Abia begat Asa;

8 And Asa begat Josaphat; and Josaphat begat Joram; and Joram begat Ozias;

9 And Ozias begat Joatham; and Joatham begat Achaz; and Achaz begat Ezekias;

10 And Ezekias begat Manasses; and Manasses begat Amon; and Amon begat Josias;

11 And Josias begat Jechonias and his brethren, about the time they were carried away to Babylon:

12 And after they were brought to Babylon, Jechonias begat Salathiel; and Salathiel begat Zorobabel;

13 And Zorobabel begat Abiud; and Abiud begat Eliakim; and Eliakim begat Azor;

14 And Azor begat Sadoc; and Sadoc begat Achim; and Achim begat Eliud;

15 And Eliud begat Eleazar; and Eleazar begat Matthan; and Matthan begat Jacob;

16 And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.

17 So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.

18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily.

20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.

22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,

23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

24 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:

25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name Jesus.

40 Many of the people therefore, when they heard this saying, said, Of a truth this is the Prophet.

41 Others said, This is the Christ. But some said, Shall Christ come out of Galilee?

42 Hath not the scripture said, That Christ cometh of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was?

43 So there was a division among the people because of him.

Matthew 2:1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,

2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.

3 When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.

4 And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born.

5 And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet,

6 And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.

7 Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared.

8 And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also.

9 When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.

10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.

11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense and myrrh.

12 And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.

13 And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.

14 When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt:

15 And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.

16 Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently inquired of the wise men.

17 Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet, saying,

18 In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not.

19 But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt,

20 Saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child’s life.

21 And he arose, and took the young child and his mother, and came into the land of Israel.

22 But when he heard that Archelaus did reign in Judaea in the room of his father Herod, he was afraid to go thither: notwithstanding, being warned of God in a dream, he turned aside into the parts of Galilee:

23 And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene.

No Halfway Measures

Antoine-Louis Barye - Lion and Serpent, No 2 - Walters 27157 - Three Quarter

“’No. there is no plan B. There is no plan B to do things right. You either do things right or you do them right. Because if plan B is to start doing things halfway or compromise, that’s the story of Argentina, and that’s where we are now,’” Milei

Newly elected Argentinian president Javier Milei recognizes the necessity of taking strict, severe, non-compromising measures to correct problems created in the past.

The principle of “all in” started in the Bible.

God warned against eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

In the Old Testament the Lord says that he sets before you life and death, blessing and cursing, choose life that you might live.

Jesus says you cannot serve God and mammon.

James says a double minded man is unstable in all his ways and let him not think that he will receive anything from the Lord.

There are many places in the Bible where the Lord God gives a standard of “all in” … for mankind’s sake.

It is worth pointing out that God is on his throne with all authority, all wisdom, all knowledge, and all might.

If God tells mankind something it is for mankind’s benefit, not his own.

If there are problems in the earth, it is because God has already told mankind what to do, and individually, corporately, nationally, or a combination thereof, shortcuts have been taken, individuals and/or nations went a different direction than what they were told to do, or in general, there was not an “all in” response to God’s commands.  If we are “all in” that “all in” for God helps us; being “all in” for righteousness benefits us.  While God loves mankind and wants to fellowship with mankind, bad choices hurt mankind, not God.  God is already “all in” into being God and it’s working for him.  It is us that have to make the choices, adjustments, and changes to line up with the Word of God in order for things to work well for us.  And that begins with the new birth into the kingdom of heaven.

Not being “all in” marriage leads to adultery and broken families.

Not being “all in” in healthy lifestyles leads to diabetes, heart attacks, and expensive health interventions.

Not being “all in” in safety can lead to taking short cuts which can lead to accidents.

Not being “all in” in team practices can lead to defeat on the field.

Not being “all in” in any field brings less than desirable results.

Matthew 5:37 But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.

Genesis 2:16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

Genesis 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Deuteronomy 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

James 1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

Repost from TheGatewayPundit: Archbishop Viganò Clearly Explains the Agenda of the Globalists

Archbishop Viganò Denounces Globalist Elite’s ‘Coup d’état’ at National Congress: A Call for Resistance Against New World Order

“You may wonder why an Archbishop would consider it necessary to address issues that apparently have no relation to the Faith. I think that, after the past few years, it has now become clear that we are facing an epochal attack, the aim of which is the establishment of a synarchy presided over by the Antichrist.”

Regardless of your demoninational background, it is definitely worth reading his complete statement.  He is one of the few religious leaders with clear awareness of what is happening in the nations.
