Enforcing a Judgment

When a judgment is rendered in a court, when there is a court decision, that is one thing.  Enforcement is another matter.

For example, let’s say a tradesperson did work and was not paid.  He might go to court for that.  And the judgement might be rendered in his favor.  But who will enforce it?

He could take out a mechanic’s lien against the house and then the house cannot be sold unless the lien is satisfied.

This is the closest parallel to understand how Jesus defeated satan at the cross.  The judgement of defeat has been rendered in the courts of heaven.  Eventually satan and his minions will be consigned to the bottomless pit.  Until the time of being bound into the bottomless pit, the decision of heaven must be enforced on the earth.  Satan will not go quietly unless the judgement rendered at the cross is enforced.

As long as he is on the earth and it is the church, with the authority of Jesus Christ that can take dominion.  It is also possible, to a certain extent, for a non-Christian  in a position of authority, to use that authority lawfully against those breaking the law.  In any case, spiritual or natural, authority has to be used for the judgements of law to be enforced.  Authority unused is the same as no authority at all.

Revelation 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

 

Revelation 20:1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

The most important component of creating a contract is the character of the individuals or nations that create the contract.  Otherwise, there is the danger of being a covenant breaker, which is actually what is behind the war in Ukraine.  The United States and NATO lied and broke covenant, they expanded eastward and forced Russia to protect itself.  Russia was not the aggressor, but since all attempts to bring peace were broken by the West, the proxy war continues and the Ukrainians suffer for western globalist objectives.  There is blood on the hands of western nations and there should be no surprise if judgements occur on those nations.

And if we know that, why do we allow rogue, unelected bureaucrats that stole the 2020 election egg on a war on that brings judgement to the nation?  There’s dumb and then there’s dumber.

Again, it goes back to the fact that the idea of God, heaven, hell, obedience, disobedience, blessings or curses and judgement has been removed from our national thinking.  You can say you don’t believe in gravity but don’t try to jump off the edge of a cliff or bridge or building, for you will find that gravity exists.  Our belief does not change reality.

We believe in actions and reactions, sowing and reaping in some areas.  But the laws of sowing and reaping in relation to the laws of God work with nations as well.  We can’t just fund unjust wars and expect it not to boomerang back on us.
