As the world stands on the cusp of WWIII, there are some questions to consider.

When Jesus came the first time, there was a sect called the Zealots.  They believed that Jesus would overtake the then-Roman world with military might and bring in the kingdom of God.  They, as well as many of the Pharisees, Sadducees, and others, did not understand that Jesus’s first coming had to do with undoing the transgression of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, and with overcoming sin, death, and the devil.   To accomplish this, Jesus laid down his life to meet the demands of divine justice.  Jesus was crucified, died, buried and rose again on the third day and declared Lord over death, hell, and the grave and is now seated at the right hand of the Father which art in heaven.  Jesus is now King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

John 10:17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.

18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

I John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

There have been various prophetic streams since the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. Not all streams lead to the same conclusion. To detail out the differences many words and books have already been written, so that will not be attempted here. Those who focus on such things know enough of the details, so that the next statements will make sense.

A question could be asked today if one stream of prophetic eschatology might be considered modern-day Zealots. The Zealots of Jesus’s day had it wrong as to how he would come. As a matter of fact, he was in their midst and they did not recognize him, with the exception of Simon the Zealot who became one of his disciples; likely there were others who recognized Jesus  as well. But in broad strokes, major groups overall who were actually waiting for the Messiah missed the fact that He was standing in the midst of them.

Why are there different prophetic streams? There are probably different lenses through which that question could be examined, but one marker is the mathematical consideration of dates. People figure prophetic timing from different dates and come to different conclusions.

One of the current issues of the day is obviously the Jewish issue.

Here are some things to consider.

Revelation 3:9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

God divorced Israel (bill of divorce).

Jeremiah 3:6 The Lord said also unto me in the days of Josiah the king, Hast thou seen that which backsliding Israel hath done? she is gone up upon every high mountain and under every green tree, and there hath played the harlot.

7 And I said after she had done all these things, Turn thou unto me. But she returned not. And her treacherous sister Judah saw it.

8 And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.

Israel was taken into captivity by the Assyrians.

Judah later was taken to Babylon for 70 years. The books of Daniel, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel cover these things. I refer the reader to those sources.

It was primarily Judah that came back to the land.

There’s more that could be said about that but we’ll skip to another major point.

A certain prophetic stream began to take the ascendary in the 1800’s and other viewpoints were swept to the dustbin of history. There was the loudest voice, not necessarily the most authetic voice as we have learned in today’s world of “fake news”, one prophetic voice focused on a certain prophetic stream with one timeline. This timeline often pulled in Russia as an antagonist even though later historians said that interpretation might not be correct.

We see in today’s news where when an error is printed and later redacted, by that time, the error has already done its damage.

Is it possible that the warmongers of the world, vested in the monied interests of the military industrial complex, aligned with the CIA and other forces that want to take the ascendary, did they jump on the prophetic bandwagon that looked to Russia as an adversary, did they engraft themselves in the midst of a certain stream of Christian eschatology to egg events on to war, and did the United States become pawn in a scheme that became interlocked between the military industrial complex that wants war for money, the CIA, and perhaps misguided interpretations of prophecy?

It has already been spoken of before on this blog how the United States is complicit with the murder of Ukrainians because  it is the United States who has given money and weaponry to Ukraine for a war based on lies and misinformation.  In the Old Testament, King David did not personally kill Uriah, but he was behind sending him to the front line and having the troops pull back so Uriah’s death was ensured.  And the prophet Nathan said to King David, “thou are the man.”

Even if there are those of us in the citizenry who disagree with this war, we are ignored. This is a war between big governmental powers and NGOs and Ukrainians are caught in the middle. The United States is not simply an observor trying to bring peace; it has actively chosen sides when it has given money and other resources to one side of conflict, in this case, Ukraine. Simple logic dictates this conclusion.

With blood on its hands, without repentance and a change in international policy direction and actions, can the United States expect help from the Lord while it is riding the fence of evil?
