Missing the Point

The commentators who seek to “figure out” Russia seem to miss the point.

The last statement Putin made in the interview with Tucker Carlson was this.  “Why are the Ukrainian authorities dismantling the Ukrainian Orthodox Church?  Because it brings together not only the territory, it brings together our souls.  No one will be able to separate the soul.”  Source

To put in it Biblical terms, the West is involved in a war for mammon.

Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Putin and Russia are seeking to eliminate neo-Nazism, which is an issue of the soul.

It seems the West avoids discussing that point.

The West no longer thinks in terms of matters of the soul.  The West is about money and power and is willing to lose its collective soul to obtain what it wants.  It has dismantled its Christian heritage in its lust for money, power and sexual lust of various forms.

Mark 8:36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

 

Luke 4:5 And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.

6 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.

7 If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.

8 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

The day will come when there are two kinds of nations in the earth:  sheep nations and goat nations.  It is questionable at this time where the United States will land in that judgement.

Matthew 25:31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

And if you would say that not everyone is like that, that may be true, but there has to be action taken against the corrupt leaders to remove them through prayer and political action.

This is a government …. of the people… by the people … and for the people …. so if the corrupt leaders remain in office without being challenged…it goes back to we the people who need to remove them.

Until Jesus comes, we need to actively work, pray, and vote.
