The Changing Goal Post

Over time, the progressive left has changed the goal post so they could avoid dealing with one sticking point for which they have no answer. That sticking point is the resurection of Jesus Christ.

They try to take the discussion to other issues such as transgenderism, abortion (misnomered “women’s rights”), evolution … anywhere but back to the historical thread of the Bible.

The Bible gives the history of the world.

God created man and gave him dominion.
Man disobeyed God and lost that dominion.
Jesus paid the price to restore mankind.
Each person has a choice to receive what Jesus has done, turn to Jesus, and follow Jesus.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the one sticking point that no one, no matter how much ink they have in the public space, is willing to address.

For if they attempt to address that issue, they lose the debate.

Jesus was born, lived, crucified, his blood was shed for mankind’s redemption, Jesus was buried and rose from the dead.

The bottom line is do you ignore the Son of God who rose from the dead?

What do you do with Jesus?

That is why they would rather take the discussion to some other tangent.

And while those issues are important, the real issue, the root issue is that Jesus rose from the dead.

The progressive/left/woke/atheist/satanic side of thought doesn’t have an answer for that. And they don’t want to talk about it because a discussion about Jesus will lead to a discussion of morals, ethics, and things that are currently dissed in modern society, especially in the two- or three- tiered levels of justice.

Having risen from the dead, Jesus is Lord and has the authority to structure this earth in the structure of the kingdom of heaven.

“Thy kingdom come, thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven.”

God’s kingdom immediately provides a standard to a lot of problems on earth: lying judges and politicians, pedophilia, pornography, toxic jabs forced on mankind and so much more.

Evil does not exist in God’s kingdom.

However, God did create a free will universe.

The love of money, the fear of man’s opinion, or sin may keep someone going the wrong direction.

The day will come when gig’s up. Like musical chairs the music will stop.

It’s better to find a place seated in heavenly places with Christ Jesus before that happens.

Isaiah 59

Isaiah 59:1 Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:

2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

3 For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness.

4 None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.

5 They hatch cockatrice’ eggs, and weave the spider’s web: he that eateth of their eggs dieth, and that which is crushed breaketh out into a viper.

6 Their webs shall not become garments, neither shall they cover themselves with their works: their works are works of iniquity, and the act of violence is in their hands.

7 Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths.

8 The way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace.

9 Therefore is judgment far from us, neither doth justice overtake us: we wait for light, but behold obscurity; for brightness, but we walk in darkness.

10 We grope for the wall like the blind, and we grope as if we had no eyes: we stumble at noon day as in the night; we are in desolate places as dead men.

11 We roar all like bears, and mourn sore like doves: we look for judgment, but there is none; for salvation, but it is far off from us.

12 For our transgressions are multiplied before thee, and our sins testify against us: for our transgressions are with us; and as for our iniquities, we know them;

13 In transgressing and lying against the Lord, and departing away from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood.

14 And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.

15 Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the Lord saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment.

16 And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him.

17 For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloak.

18 According to their deeds, accordingly he will repay, fury to his adversaries, recompence to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompence.

19 So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.

20 And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the Lord.

21 As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the Lord; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed’s seed, saith the Lord, from henceforth and for ever.

The Dangers of AI

The dangers of AI have been discussed in the marketplace.

To learn more about some recent problems, read this article at ZeroHedge.

It can be seen how “fake news” put out from an AI can be used to attempt to bring about the downfall of an individual or company or AG or anyone who becomes a potential target.

If news channels are controlled, and the news given to consumers is controlled, and fake news is put out by AIs over controlled fake news channels, it leverages power in a certain direction simply because alternatives are not known.  If AI-generated articles, audio and video mimic people, their voices, and AI- generated images appear on AI-generated videos, this is a kind of warfare against humanity not yet seen.  And if AI politicians show up to vote, appearing to be real or wearing masks, this is an additional problem.

Ananias and Sapphira

Ananias drops dead after having secretly withheld part of hi Wellcome V0034971

“Ananias drops dead after having secretly withheld part….”
See page for author, CC BY 4.0, via Wikimedia Commons

Acts 5:1 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession,

2 And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles’ feet.

3 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?

4 Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.

5 And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.

6 And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him.

7 And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in.

8 And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much.

9 Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out.

10 Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband.

11 And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.

Presumption

Details-Job Confessing his Presumption to God-Blake

Details-Job_Confessing_his_Presumption_to_God-Blake

Presumption is connected to “audacity” which is “bold … disregard of normal restraints”.

Presume means “to undertake without … clear justification”.

In layman’s terms, it might be called assuming one can beat the odds ….

It is assuming one can run a tight schedule, leave at a precise time with no buffer zone, and still arrive on time without hitting any snags or delay points.

It is assuming in school that one can skip the daily discipline of class and study and then attempt at the last minute to cram for a test in order to come up with a passing grade.

It is assuming that one can show up once or twice during the course of a year at either the gym or church and have the same results as those who attend regularly and apply discipline on a regular basis.

Presumption appeals to the desire for comfort more than the daily grind of discipline, but it won’t yield the same results.

Presumption can be very destructive.  Sleeping until the last minute, hitting the alarm off, rushing out the door, and running a yellow or red light (don’t do it) in the presumptive hope of getting somewhere on time may lead to an accident or death.

The Bible talks about the whole counsel of God as being necessary for success.

When any instruction is followed, whether the ordinary ordered steps of a recipe or the time taken to go through a pre-flight check list, it is important to determine that all required steps are correctly followed for the desired result to be obtained.

It would not expected, for example,  for a cake to turn out correctly if the flour and oil are omitted. But then again, neither should life be expected to operate at full potential if instructions in the Word of God or directives by the Holy Spirit are omitted.

The Bible warns against presumption.

One form of presumption is assuming that God will pour out financial blessings without obedience to financial laws set out in the Word of God.

Here are some.

Malachi 3:8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.

9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.

10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts.

12 And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the Lord of hosts.

Haggai 2:2 Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, This people say, The time is not come, the time that the Lord’s house should be built.

3 Then came the word of the Lord by Haggai the prophet, saying,

4 Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your cieled houses, and this house lie waste?

5 Now therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts; Consider your ways.

6 Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes.

7 Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Consider your ways.

8 Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the Lord.

9 Ye looked for much, and, lo it came to little; and when ye brought it home, I did blow upon it. Why? saith the Lord of hosts. Because of mine house that is waste, and ye run every man unto his own house.

10 Therefore the heaven over you is stayed from dew, and the earth is stayed from her fruit.

11 And I called for a drought upon the land, and upon the mountains, and upon the corn, and upon the new wine, and upon the oil, and upon that which the ground bringeth forth, and upon men, and upon cattle, and upon all the labour of the hands.

Matthew 23:23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

It is not the whole counsel of God to quote “my God shall supply all my needs” without obedience to the tithe or the laws of sowing and reaping that are throughout the Bible.

Genesis 8:22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

There are requirements.

Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

The tithe should be the first thing given out of any paycheck or income.  It should not be an afterthought or “if you have enough”.  Chances are you will never have enough if you put it last because it will be devoured if it is not given first.

If you tithe first one of the blessings may be that you make better financial decisions and don’t waste money and substance and/or don’t have certain crises that cost unexpected money.

Without obedience, a person comes out from under the umbrella of protection; the finances operate under the curse and are devoured.

It is presumption to expect prosperity without obedience.

Pretending to be wise

Romans 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

There is a saying, “he played the fool“. One of the definitions is “He’s made his name acting the fool.”

The definition of foolishis “unwise, stupid, not showing good judgment”.

The administrative state, the occupier-in-chief administration, has not shown good judgment in bringing the world to the brink of WWIII.

How did this happen?

In insurance, there is something called a rider. An insurance policy is a basic policy and a rider modifies the basic policy; it “rides” the basic policy.

For a long time there has been a “Russia, Russia, Russia” bogeyman narrative. In politics, it extended from the Cold War. In prophecy, it came from a view that Russia would invade Israel. No matter the roots, people were conditioned to accept a “Russia, Russia, Russia” bogeyman interpretation without a whole lot of questioning.

To the left, “perception” is everything.

A parallel rider type of “bait and switch” occurred with the Covid plandemic. Those who took over the whole health care system and narrative rode in on the back of decades of health that attempted to operate through the Hippocratic Oath. When it was perceived that tares had been sown among the wheat, and that something else was going on, the reason general public perception finally changed was due to the reality of the cost of multiple deaths, individuals maimed, miscarriages, careers ended, small businesses destroyed, oligarchs enriched, and a general upending of society. The Covid narrative rode in on an assumption that those who in the health community wouldn’t do anything “bad” because they have historically been perceived as wanting to aid mankind, not hurt it, due to the Hippocratic Oath. But other agendas snuck in unperceived on that historical foundation, and other people snuck who were not bona fide doctors who actually cared for their patients.

But back to Russia … so because of historical narratives and an administrative state that cries “Russia, Russia, Russia” that fed into historical narrative perspectives, there was a certain going along with it.

The recent interview between Tucker Carlson and President Putin explains the historical roots of the problem. The West/NATO/US has been involved in covenant breaking and has forced Russia to protect its land, people, and traditions. The two-hour interview is available online.  Russia would have made peace, but the West has refused.

So because the West/NATO/US “rode in” on perceived “Russia, Russia, Russia” narratives and not facts, hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians have been murdered in a proxy war on behalf of the military industrial complex and the industry that makes money through destruction.  This whole narrative threatens the world.

Romans 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man

Neighbor or Employee?

Because of the Christian heritage of the United States, there is fuzzy thinking about how to treat the government. Is it our neighbor or our employee?

The answer to that question determines how one acts towards the government.

The United States is a Constitutional Republic. “Democracy” is thrown around a lot in political speech, but the Founding Fathers did not want to create a democracy as a democracy dies a violent death.

The United States is based on representative government.  The government is delegated a certain amount of authority by the people to function within certain limited defined limits.  The government is paid for by the people through taxes.  And if the government is out-of-line and not doing what it was told to do by the people, it is up to “we the people” to use lawful means to change that:

  • voting and making sure the elections are clean and lawful
  • showing up at school board meetings
  • contacting representatives and senators
  • exposing corruption
  • using legal means to remove those who have failed to uphold their oath of office

Sometimes a focus is placed on simply doing what government says.  “Just do what Caesar says and don’t think about it.”  But that ignores civic responsibility and citizens actually do have responsibilities, not just rights.  If a government has gone rogue, if a government has illegally gotten into power through a coup, through a stolen election … it is up to We the People to correct that.

The government is not a neighbor that we go the second mile with, or give the benefit of the doubt.  Government has to respond the the will of the governed in accordance with the law, and if government does not, it has ceased to be a legal functioning government because it is in rebellion itself to the Constitution of the nation.

This was the whole premise of the Declaration of Independence.

If We the People are not willing to take their Constitutional responsibilities seriously, and keep government in line, then they have no one to blame but themselves.

Again, the fuzzy thinking is that we should simply “give them a pass” when they break the law because … why? … because we are supposed to be “nice people”? … because we turn the other cheek or go the second mile?   No.  Don’t confuse “neighbor” with “employee”.  We are the employers of government,  government answers to We the People.  The government is not our neighbor, but our employee.

If you have a son that you give a job to, such as to take out the trash, and the boy drags the trash bag along, and the bag tears, and trash flies into the neighbors’ yards, do you give the boy a pass?  Or do you sit him down, explain to him what you want, tell him to pick up all the trash and to not let it happen again?

And what if instead of trash more dangerous things fly out … open border invasions of military-aged young men and criminals who want to steal, kill and destroy within the nation; fentanyl; transgenderism; war to feed the military industrial complex stocks in industries of destruction; pedophilia; the destruction of the family; the destruction of the Bill of Rights; the destruction of the historic advancements of mankind … do you simply let it happen?  Do you give it a pass?

Or do you say, I delegated the authority, and I will have to maintain a position of making sure the ones I delegated that authority stay in  line with my requests?

Collectively, We the People, are responsible to make sure the govenment stays in line with the law and what it has been placed in office to do.

The Land Vomits Out Its Inhabitants

Leviticus 18:25 And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.

One of the curses on a nation for disobedience to the Lord God is exile from the land, “the land vomiteth out her inhabitants”.

So how does that work nowadays?

I did a little bit of word study, using an online Strong’s Concordance and other online references … which send you back to multiple root meanings just as an English dictionary might do … as well as thinking about it, and these are my conclusions.  You may not agree, and that’s fine.

1. One way to “vomit” people out of a nation is through war or plague; they die off and are “vomited out”. People can be sent off to war from one nation to another to fight, and when they are removed from the country, killed off.
2. “disgorging” riches … the economy is in a downward trajectory
3. “Fit together, fabricate artificially” … the invasion of multi-nationals who have no historical connection to the United States is an artificial fabrication and “fitting together”.  Even though the United States used to have a process of legal immigration which was beneficial to the nation whereby people from other nations legally became citizens, what is currently happening is not that.

It reminds me of Daniel’s vision where the iron and the clay did not cleave together. The illegals are not cleaving to the Constitutional Republic. I know there are those who use this scripture in other considerations, but I have said before that my prophetical trajectory is different than mainstream, and you are welcome to reject my conclusions.

Daniel 2:42 And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.

43 And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

Here are some related points.

1. The redemption of Jesus Christ must be received personally.
2. At the forming of the nation of the United States, covenants were made with God. Actually, one of the suggestions for the national seal by Benjamin Franklin was the passing of the children of Israel through the Red Sea. Since individuals are redeemed, and not nations, we are experiencing nationally the consequences of the curse and the broken covenants with the Lord. The whole is the sum of the parts, of many individuals within the nation.
3. If we want better results nationally, the nation needs to be full of individuals who individually serve the Lord.
4. Economically, we are under a curse since the majority of people, including many Christians, do not tithe. Tithing was not part of the law that was eliminated by Jesus Christ. Abraham tithed and Abraham was before Moses who received the law. The law of sacrifices of bulls and sheep and goats was eliminated as Jesus was the Last Lamb slain and Jesus’s blood  cleanses from all unrighteousness, rather than making a temporary covering as Old Testament sacrifices did. But other principles in the Old Testament are still in effect. Jesus said of tithing, these ye ought to have done and not to leave the other undone. And while there are two commandments, love God and love your neighbor, if you love your neighbor you will not be breaking the Ten Commandments in regard to your neighbor.

If you want to say that Jesus is coming again so none of this matters, that Jesus will clear it all up, fine.

But I believe the Bible shows us that we are stewards of this earth and need to be using our gifts and talents in accordance with the will of God until Jesus returns.

Matthew 24:44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;

50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

What each part of the body of Christ does or does not do affects the rest of the body of Christ. If one part of a natural body does not due its job due to some injury, say a sprained ankle, it puts more stress on the rest of the body. Every individual member of the body does need to work at full capacity in whatever position they are given by the Lord. When one suffers, they all suffer. Plus eyes don’t need to be hands. Livers don’t need to be kidneys. Hearts don’t need to be ears. The body works best when all parts work in their own capacity. And, cells that go rogue and try to be something they are not called to be are called cancerous.

If members go to a church but never give their tithes and offerings that puts tremendous pressure on the leadership of the church and hinders potentials of the church. In every other venue … going to a movie, going to watch the NFL series, working out a gym, attending a seminar to learn something, going on a vacation … people pay money. But they go to church week after week and don’t give tithes or give a fraction of the tithe.

So the curse comes, the economy becomes worse, and what was not given in tithe, is taken away some other way.

Malachi 3:7 Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the Lord of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?

8 Will a man rob God?
